The Venus Factor – Just another Weight Loss Program?

Hey, Bruce here, and you’re reading my uncensored review of what I really thought about The Venus Factor. Note that this a review though, if you’re looking for The Venus Factor website then click here.

Why am I writing this? Well, when a good friend at the gym mentioned it I wanted to know more about it, there weren't many real reviews around so I thought I’d write one quickly to help any of you who are in the same position I was. But be warned, I’ll be going into both the good and the bad points, so if that’s something you might not want to hear, then you may as well leave now.

You must be thinking there are so many products out there then why choose The Venus Factor to review. Well one woman at the gym mentioned this. The first thing that caught my attention about it is targeted specifically for women.  Yes, it sounds like a marketing strategy, I mean their official website video starts with the warning that the following video is only for women. But considering the leptin levels in the female body it makes sense.

John Barban
The Venus Factor by John Barban is based on monitoring leptin levels (click here to read my post on the Leptin Hormone if you don't know much about it) in females. The female body has twice the amounts of leptin hormones compared to men. The great thing about The Venus Factor program is it is not a ‘diet pill program’. It is a complete strategy (diet and fitness) considering the physique and metabolism of women. It is based around monitoring the leptin hormone through diet and exercise. This also means that you will have to put in the hard work.

Males and females bodies are unique. They are designed for different types of work. Women have the natural ability to bear and nurture babies therefore, they store extra fat. The midsection, hips, thighs and back sides are all designed to store more fat, which keeps the babies healthy in times of famine.

From a personal experience as a gym coach I can tell you that a lot of women have a hard time losing weight despite exercising. It all comes down to two basic problems; women face “resistance” or “insensitivity” to Leptin’s signal to burn fat which is basically like having your body’s fat burning switch set to OFF. And second, is the rapid drop in your Leptin levels when you diet, which slows down your metabolism substantially and leads to frustrating weight loss plateaus and massive rebound weight gain.

Ever Wondered Why Women Become Obese After Giving Birth?

The Leptin levels go through the roof in a pregnant woman. Even after giving birth getting rid of that baby weight can be very difficult.

So how is this product any different?

The usual fitness and diet mumbo jumbo is based around only selling the program. You will agree that there is hardly any 'after sale service' for these products. The Venus Factor gives you an online community for support. Trust me you need this. I am a man but I know what women, especially moms, go through with the fitness programs. They buy it, try it for a few days and then they face some problem, get lazy and then forget about it. Besides, moms have a lot of responsibilities.

I am not going to make women feel bad about their high leptin levels. Trust me, higher leptin levels in your body also mean that you can lose more weight than men. The Venus Factor gauges on the Metabolic Override, a strategy to unlock the fat burning potential.

Food Celibacy - Are You Kidding?

You don't have to completely ditch the things you crave the most. I feel sorry for those people (guys included) who live a life of celibacy from food so they can look good. Duh, wake up. There are better ways to stay fit and look good than cutting out all those mouth watering pleasures of life.

Effect on Female Breasts

A genuine concern for women is if they start a weight loss program they will lose their bust. It is a genuine concern. I am sure that getting weaker is not be part of your goals. You need a good shape so you need the right proportions of nutrients. The Venus Factor gives you a software (VF Nutritionist). You put in your body dimensions and it tells you the right proportions of your body and a recommended protein-calorie intake. The idea is to make you look more attractive.

The Downside

Venus Factor leaves a few things up to the user. Not everyone needs to follow every part of the program. For instance, if you simply want to lose weight you can ditch the exercise part. But if you want that model look you will have to try harder than that. I mention this as a downside because I interact with many women who are simply too scared to try anything on their own. They will ask me ordinary questions and I have to tell them everything in detail. I am not complaining, it is my job, I get paid for coaching. Therefore, I also know what happens when you don't guide them. They feel clueless.

So for women that can build their diet plan based on the principles mentioned in the program, it is a good purchase. But women that want every tiny detail, I would suggest they look for other programs or be very very active in the online community to get guidance whenever needed. The point is, don't waste your money by buying the program and not using it to its full potential.

Yes, the Venus Factor gives you money back guarantee and it does not interfere with your dining preferences - it is good for vegans too.

I recommend using it ONLY if you don't have the time or money for gym or personal coaching. To check out their official page click here
